PDF Catalog Creator have a friendly installation guide, you can step by step install it on your disk. Installation guide will automatic make a program item and a desktop shortcut, now you can run it. Following is an introduce of setting.

(1) For getting product data, you would fill your database information into general settings panel, such as Host name, User name, Password and Database. Here is this panel image:

When you accurately filled Host name, User name, Password, Database. Then you can click "Download" button to download product data from your website. If you got a warning message, please check your input or email to our supporter.

Note: Program will download new data every start if you check on the "Automatically Download" checkbox.

(2) Images URL define where the images of products can be downloaded, Usually the directory is http://yourwebsite/catalog/images. But may vary depending on the configuration of osCommerce.

(3) Localization indicate language and currency of PDF catalog.

(4) Created PDF catalog will be saved using this filename.

(5) You can input Store name, address, country, phone in advance, then if you choose a template which contained these information, you don't need input again.

Note: These settings won't been saved until you click "Save settings" button. You may use "Load settings" button to get previous settings.

Your store database has several tables required for the program to work exactly. For example program will lost products information if there's no "products" table in database as well as several other required tables cannot be found. You may have a reason to change the name of "products" table to something like "prefix_products" and so on, at the same time all other tables have default names.

These fields allows you input new table name to tune PDF Catalog creator to be able to work with renamed tables.

This program is a shareware, So if you use a trial version, you only create catalog for 10 products. For register this program, you can go to Pricing&Purchase to buy a license.

You can register product by following dialog.

(1) and (2) are in the mail which we send to you for successful purchase.

(3) indicate your server host. If you had a single host license, This item will appear and it will be automatically filled with server host value in "General settings" panel. Please note that once you register this program with this host name, program will check it before download data every time. Of course, you can change it by send mail to our support.

If you had a multi-host license, This item will disappear and don't worry about it.

You will see default templates in start panel (Layout panel). If you sure will use these templates, you only need click "Create PDF Catalog" button in toolbar to create catalog. Otherwise, you can click one template picture to choose your favourite template.

Note: By check on/off checkbox under picture, you may decide to use or not to use given template. Of course, you must select at least one template.

(1) Choose a cover template.

In cover panel, you may choose your favourite template from left list, then you can fill yourself information in right bottom files. You may save your input by click "save settings" button.

(2) Choose an index template.

(3) Choose a content template.

You can create catalog only for special products by using products panel. There are four searching condition: Category, Manufactory, Products name, Products model. Please input your searching condition and click "Search!" button, Following list will show all catched products immediately, So you can click "Create PDF catalog" button to create catalog. Further, you can do more accurate choosing by check on/off checkbox before product name in products list.
